Sadguru Sadafaldeo Ji
Sadguru Sadafaldeo

Birth
Maharishi Sadguru Sadafaldeo Ji Maharaj was born in the year 1888 on the fourth day of the first fortnight of Bhadrapada, of Vikram Samvat 1945.
He was born in a renowned yogi family in the lineage of Maharishi Shringi . His forefather, Baba Lalji Rao, six generations above, was a great yogi who used to sit in a firm yogic posture in meditation for six month
s continuously.
Family
Journey of Sadguru Sadafaldeo Ji Maharaj
Morning shows the day and the child shows the man. This proverb exactly fits the case of Maharishi Sadguru Sadafaldeoji Maharaj, while still a child of two; he sat aloof on a wooden plank and his father, mother and other elderly members of his house to lay prostrate before him, as he was a great saint. Persons thought that the child was just making fun and they reverently touched his feet. The same boy when began going to school could continue his studies. He wanted to learn Sanskrit in order to know the secret of God realization by going through the ancient scriptures.
At the early age of eleven Sadafal went to Kashi to learn Sanskrit, but the scholars of Sanskrit in Kasi, who were Brahmins by caste, did not agree to impart him the knowledge of Sanskrit, as he hailed from a Kshatriya family. Being disappointed, boy Sadafal decided to practice Yoga, because he had heard that ancient saints and seers got invaluable and deep knowledge of every thing by practicing Yoga. As a result he sat in meditation practicing 'Unmunimudra' which Lord Krishna has taught in the Gita. Maharishi Sadguru Sadafaldeo practiced his first lesson of yoga for controlling mind continuously for three years. He sat in meditation in a secluded place in Sidhasana, a yogic posture, for six hours every day.
One night while he was meditating thus, he found that his room was filled up with effulgence. He also heard a sweet and soothing voice from the void. "This won't lead you to attain the Supreme Lord, as this practice is based on material sense organs." Sometimes while in a state of meditation, he felt that someone put one of the fingers on the uppermost point of his head. On opening his eyes, he found none there. He could not make out who had spoken so sweetly and who had touched his head with his finger. Later on when Swamiji began practicing yoga inside his cave at Vritikoot Ashram, Pakari, he met a saint with light effulging from him, in the early hours of morning in a lovely field. This saint initiated him into the conscious technique of Vihangam Yoga and instructed him not to come out of his cave before the public until a period of six months of 'anusthan' was complete. Swamiji later on realized that the saint he had met was not a common one. He was the Eternal True teacher, Nitya Anadi Sadguru. The Lord is Eternal and the way of realizing him is also eternal. As such the teacher teaching the scientific technique of realizing the Lord is also eternal. He is gifted with the power of materializing his body whenever he wills. He also appears in the physical form in all the four ages viz Satyuga, Tretaa, Dwapar and Kaliyuga and teaches the technique of Vihangam Yoga, the only way of God-realization, to deserving aspirants.
A reference to this effect has been made in the Vedas at several places.
Twa dootam agney amritam yugey- yugey havyawaaham dadhirey paayum eedayam.
Devaasah cha martasah cha jaagrivim vibhum vishwapatim namasaa nishedirey.
Devaasah cha martasah cha jaagrivim vibhum vishwapatim namasaa nishedirey.
-- Rig Veda
O Lord! Your messenger comes to this world with your nectarian message to emancipate the suffering humanity and leads it to Thee. People as well as Deity's can't know Him. We lay ourselves prostrate to his Holy feet.
He practiced Vihangam Yoga for seventeen long years, under the guidance of the same Eternal Sadguru, in his self made cave at Vritikoot Ashram Pakari, Balia, in his cave at Shoonya Shikar Ashram Himalayas, at Jhoonsi Ashram (Prayag) on the bank of Ganges and at several other sacred places. He undertook a number of yoga anusthans (Continuous Practice) lasting continuously for six months. Being pleased with his great sacrifice and perseverance, Nitya Anadi Sadguru endowed him with the authority of True Teacher. In the month of Magh (two months before the Indian Festival- Holi), Eternal Sadguru blessed Maharishi Sadafal deo Ji with the authority of Sadguru and in the process, transferred the divine Brahma Vidya Knowledge to him. It was that auspicious moment when Sadguru Sadafal deo Ji was enlightened with the complete Brahma Vidya knowledge. Only a Sadguru has the potential to bless a disciple with the complete knowledge and authorize the disciple as next Sadguru. No one can claim himself or herself as Sadguru just by reading VEDAs and other books. A sadguru is the one who has the practical experience of Brahma Vidya and who can empower a deserved disciple with the same. Sadguru Sadguru Sadafaldeo ji Maharaj has said in his unique spiritual work Swarveda

स्वर्वेद दोहा ज्ञान महायज्ञ - ‘भूतो न भविष्यति’
The most exalted and revered Himalayan Yogi His Holiness Sadguru Sadafaldeo Ji Maharaj wrote several treatises during 17 long years of most arduous meditational practice in the Himalayan Region as well as other renowned vicinities of India. The most unique and sacred of the books which Sadgurudeo authored – that bares the entire secret of the cosmos – is the “Swarveda". This entire treatise was conceived, visualized and expressed in simple yet highly codified words in a metaphysical state of Chetan Samadhi and without taking recourse to any holy scripture.
This treatise happens to be the only one of its kind in the whole world in that it not only reveals the metaphysical science of consciousness but also extrapolates upon the spiritual experiences which one can encounter by performing Vihangam Yoga under the guidance of Sadguru; and ultimately experience the presence of the Almighty God, the Universal Soul. The first Parampara Sadguru, Dharmachandradeo Ji Maharaj, composed a detailed commentary of the 3137 codified verses in the Swarveda, allowing the underlying messages of the verses to be brought to the surface and allow one to gain an optimal grasp on the real import of these verses. Even today, when a yoga practitioner chants the rhymes of Swarved, he experiences deep vibrations inside, and it thus acts as an optimal tool for one to advance their consciousness to greater levels and different planes.
Some of the topics that are covered in detail in Swarved are the Mind, the Soul, the Prana (Breath), the Sadguru, the Supreme Soul or God, the Kala (Time), the Sushmana and the Kundalini, the material and metaphysical worlds, stages of meditation, divine reverberating words (Niranjan, OM, Soham, Shakti, Rarankar), Birth and Death, Salvation and the list is virtually endless.

Vihangam Yoga – The true path of spiritualityWhat is Yoga?
Yoga is one of the most talked about topic today. Generally a set of physical postures (Asanas / Pranayaams) for body fitness is termed as Yoga. Though Asanas and Pranayaams are very much required for physical fitness however, there are lots beyond this and very few people genuinely seek for this. For them, there’s another huge world to explore and experiment.
Religion and Yoga
- We must not confuse Yoga with Religion. Religion as we know is an
organized set of precepts, processes and relationships that exist in an
institutionalized framework. No matter which religion we may profess
faith in, each religion contains in it certain ele
Interestingly, each religion contains very explicit truths that are essential for beginners: the existence of God, moral values and teachings. But each such religion also contains very implicit, even cryptically hidden references to the higher art and science of God realization.
These can only be understood by one who faithfully follows his religion not just in the material sense but also along the spiritual plane. Such follower is automatically practicing elements of Yoga, whether he or she knows it by this name or not.
Followers of all religion are welcome to Vihangam Yoga. Each soul is fundamentally equal. Therefore, Vihangam Yoga treats all on an equal footing, irrespective of caste, creed, race, sex and age. By learning and practicing Vihangam Yoga, one does not at any point of time need to cease following his or her religion. The practice of Vihangam Yoga can only enhance the perception and understanding of one’s own religion and faith. Adherents of Vihangam Yoga have deepened their personal and familial bonds with their religions based on the profoundly enriching experiences that Vihangam Yoga offers.
What is Vihangam Yoga?
It is the complete science of spirituality that starts with helping you tame your mind. Mind is a wonderful tool, but we don’t have control over it. Truly speaking we are in the constant enslavement to the mind. Once we have controlled our mind, we start experiencing unveiling of another world, full of infinite potential. Then, we start our true spiritual journey to unite with the eternal bliss. In essence, Vihangam Yoga is the spiritual Science which teaches “How to unite Soul with Parmatma” to get Salvation? i.e. it is a Science of God-Realization.
Why vihangam Yoga?
While other forms of yoga – be it Raj yoga, Hath yoga, Mantra Yoga, Laya Yoga. Bhakti Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, and various others fall within the limits of the physical and mental domain, Vihangam Yoga doesn’t! Yes, it does trespass the limits of the physical and mental boundary and culminates, at its climax, in the infinite ocean of pure bliss!
The expositor of this long forgotten divine Vihangam yoga in the present era is Sadguru Sadafaldeo Ji Maharaj. The Almighty has discovered this technique after practicing for 17 long years in the dense forests amidst all hardships. The entire knowledge that he gained in the state of Samadhi is described fully and systematically in his unique spiritual epic, Swarveda.
There are five stages in Vihangam Yoga:
The journey starts with gaining control over mind, which, needless to say, is extremely sought to succeed in all walks of life. Mind is very powerful and extremely volatile. We try to focus but it wavers. Mind is never stable. We try to do something, but end up doing something else. Controlling mind is as difficult as getting oil out of sand.
The First stage of Vihangam Yoga well goes with the strong note that as an elephant can be easily controlled by tying it with a rope to its legs with weak log, similarly, the powerful mind can also be controlled in the able guidance by knowing the fact that it is weak in a particular zone. People do try to meditate on their own by concentrating on candle or some other object, but these practices takes them nowhere even after putting years together. Vihangam Yoga claims to bliss you with the best meditation technique. If you could put in just 10 minutes twice a day for Vihangam Yoga Meditation Practice, you will start gaining tremendous control on your mind (mann).
In the Second Stage, we learn how to purify our mind. It is this stage where ‘Om’ appears. ‘Om’ is one of the five universal words which is encompassing in the universe. What we need is to realize those eyes, which we can reveal them through.
In the Third Stage, we take our consciousness to the threshold point which joins to the zone of ‘Akshar Brahma’, the one who runs the entire cosmos. Mind starts releasing the soul from its shackles and the subtlest universal word – ‘Rarankara’ appears. This is the place, concentrating where consciousness is able to go to its conscious center by awakening the Kundalini Shakti. This is the limit to which ANY other yogic practice can lead you to. Practicing here bestows us with everything what we can achieve through practice of any other practice -Hath Yoga, Mantra Yoga or Raja Yoga available in the world.
The Forth Stage is practiced beyond materialistic world where the actual Vihangam Yoga starts. Meditating here mind automatically dissolves itself in its cause as do the rivers when they meet ocean. This is the abode of ‘Akshar Brahma’, meditating where opens up consciousness towards the Almighty and then by practicing Fifth lesson, by the grace of the Sadguru (Perfect Master), we realize Him. By realizing Him does not mean assuming anything, but it actually is about possessing Him, touching Him, blessing oneself with all the attributes of Him – Omnipresence, Omniscience, Omnipotence and the bliss.
Importance of the Sadguru in Spirituality
Sharing and imparting the knowledge is not at all possible without seeking the help of Guru (Teacher). The knowledge of the phenomenal world is being taught by different teachers who gain their knowledge from books or experiences and are referred as worldly gurus. Sadguru takes us beyond this materialistic world. He is the one who helps us in realize oneself (Atma) and reveals through the eternal bliss (Parmatma). He is the one who can wipe off the darkness and show the path of Salvation.
Sadguru are of 4 types – Eternal Sadguru, Swayam Siddha Sadguru, Abhyas Siddha Sadguru and Parampara Sadguru. After the strenuous practice of 17 long years, Sri Sadafaldeo Ji Maharaj was honored as the Abhyas Siddha Sadguru by Eternal Sadguru. He started preaching this knowledge from 1924 AD and before discarding his mortal frame, he passed this knowledge to Sri. Dharmachandradeo Ji Maharaj (First Parampara Sadguru). Sri. Dharmachandradeo Ji Maharaj preached this rare technique of Brahma Vidya Vihangam Yoga for 15 years and discarded his body in 1969 AD. Thereafter, Sri. Swatantradeo Ji Maharaj was honored as the Second Parampara Sadguru at the mere age of 22. He is the present Sadguru who has been spreading this great and rare knowledge throughout the world since then.

Yoga: The science of God-realization
Dear Souls!
Yoga is a term derived from yuj, a Sanskrit word meaning unification or union. This union is of two
conscious entities, the soul and the Lord. The union between two similar things is permanent and durable,
whereas that between two dissimilar objects is short-lived and unnatural.
So yoga is the scientific process of uniting the soul with the Lord. The soul is very small, smaller
even than the atom, an important invention of modern science. This atom, being split into Electron, Proton
and Neutron is but a gross form of atom. The real atom is much smaller than the present one. Atom defined
by the great sage Kanad of India is the finest form of matter which allows no further division. Such atom
can’t seen by any physical instrument, however fine or superfine it may be. It can be seen by a soul that has
acquired its own purely conscious form by adopting the scientific and age-old technique of Vihangam YSupreme
